EMS is short for “Electrical Muscle Stimulation”. Technically, it is a training for the whole body, that uses low voltage electric impulses. Daily, our central nervous system carries electrical impulses to control muscles.

EMS uses this principle and is able to intensify it in order to reach the deeper layers of the muscles, which are very difficult to stimulate through conventional training. This is done by placing electrodes directly on the skin, above the muscles.
