Muscle electrostimulation (EMS) is the technology that brings significant improvements to your performance. A special costume is used for this, and by connecting to the i-Body Romania device we measure muscle mass and fat volume, bone mass and metabolic age. In addition, with i-Body Romania you have access to a three-dimensional scanning of the body, which leads to an efficient evaluation of the results. The EMS concept, combined with the usual fitness exercises, under the guidance of a personal trainer, is a new one. EMS is short for “Electrical Muscle Stimulation”. Technically, it is a training for the whole body, that uses low voltage electric impulses. Daily, our central nervous system carries electrical impulses to control muscles.

EMS uses this principle and is able to intensify it in order to reach the deeper layers of the muscles, which are very difficult to stimulate through conventional training. This is done by placing electrodes directly on the skin, above the muscles.
